Paddles

This is what makes SUP so different. The paddle not only gets you around and onto the waves earlier, it becomes and extension of your body when surfing and helps to trim and turn the board. Pages have been written about paddle design and construction, but basically you need a paddle that transfers as much power as possible through your stroke but is also forgiving enough to allow you to paddle for hours.

Dave Chun's KIALOA paddles are the paddle of choice for BONGA Perkins, Tom Carroll and Blane Chambers of Paddle Surf Hawaii.
Get a KIALOA paddle in you hands and you will feel the difference straight away, with it's eliptical shaft and low swing weight a KIALOA paddle is a work of art.

The Nalu Stand-Up Surf Paddle

The Nalu's versatile blade shape is an all-around mid-sized paddle, equally at home riding a long wall at Noosa or charging the break at Margaret's.  Lean into the super-strong custom oval tapered shaft and feel the balance of energy-efficient stiffness and supple, comfortable flex.  The 10-degree bent shaft feels like an extension of your arm with a clean catch and effortless return.  The hand-shaped unidirectional  Ergo-t top orients the paddle without looking down at the blade.

Shaka Pu'u

THis is fast becoming the paddle of choice for many surfers. Mel Pu'u embodies the spirit of the Hawaiin waterman.  A longtime lifeguard at Makaha, Mel is a force to be reckoned with, whether he's tandem surfing, outrigger surfing, or getting tubed with a stand-up surf paddle in hand.  He's also been known to give away surf boards and other contest prizes to competitors he felt were more deserving - it's all about having fun on the water for Mel. We're proud to name our new state-of-the-craft stand up surf paddle after him. A portion of Shaka Pu'u sales are donated to the cause of choice for Mel and his wife Momi, the Makaha Junior Lifeguard Scholarship Program.

The Shaka Pu'u blade profile is our smallest paddle and allows for quick acceleration through the water without pulling the surfer off balance.  Ideal for catching waves and keeping yourself in the surf.

Blane Chambers - Methane

Inspired by Blane Chambers of Paddle Surf HAwaiiA the Methane has a slightly narrower blade again from the Shakka Pu'u
with almost no reduction in power due to its efficiency in the water.
It
is for fast repetitions and increased maneuverability in the surf.

The smaler blade is also great for women and smaller riders.

Another beautiful paddle from the worlds best.
